Assessment Process

Initial Assessment

  • Structured clinical interview using the DIVA-5 (Diagnostic Interview for ADHD in Adults - Version 5).
  • This is one of the most widely used and evidence-based tools for diagnosing ADHD in adults.
  • Takes up to 2 hours and can be completed in-person or via Telehealth.

Collateral Interview

  • An interview with a parent, partner, or someone else close to you.
  • This helps us gather additional information from another perspective.

Developmental History

  • A discussion of your developmental and personal history.
  • We explore your background from childhood through to the present.

Questionnaires

  • Completion of standardised questionnaires.
  • These are filled out by both you and the person providing collateral information.

Additional Information

  • Any supporting documentation, if available.
  • Examples include school reports or previous assessments.

Feedback & Report

  • A 30-minute feedback session via Telehealth to review results and answer questions.
  • A comprehensive written report with clear findings and recommendations.
